Oregon AFSCME Governor's Forum

One of the most important things union members can do is make sure our voices are heard by those in power by fighting together to improve our workplaces and provide for our families. We are facing many challenges in the coming years, including budget cuts that will threaten our jobs, our contracts, our safety, and the public services we provide. Oregon's Governor will have a direct impact on working people. We need a governor who is fighting with us, and AFSCME members play an important role in that decision.

Candidates will have the opportunity to answer our members’ questions and demonstrate their willingness to stand with working people, and the decision to endorse a candidate is made by AFSCME members only. 

As one of the largest labor unions in Oregon, our endorsement carries real power. When we harness our collective strength, we can defend our jobs, provide for our families, and protect public services. This forum is a critical opportunity for members to engage directly in that process.
