PWU announces August 15th Strike

Following our successful strike vote, with 87.5% voting to authorize a strike, we met with OHSU on July 31st to discuss their last best and final offer.

OHSU just sent us their update on the delivery of our strike notice. They are "disappointed" it's come to this even though their representative told us to "trust the process" months ago. Declaring a strike is part of the process and it is our right to exercise that action.

Your bargaining team gave our legally obligated 10 days notice for a strike on August 15th, 2024. Our team Making every effort to reach a fair agreement with OHSU and avert a strike. However, we need you to be prepared to “put the pipette down” and show up to the strike line.
