Corrections Lobby Day

Our 2021 lobby day for AFSCME Corrections will take place on February 11th from 9:30am - 5pm via Zoom.

Registration will close on February 4th at 5:30PM. Register early and save your place! There will be breaks throughout the day but also want to speak to as many legislators as possible.

Corrections members face unique challenges from COVID-19 and the projected state budget. AFSCME staff will be scheduling meetings with elected decision-makers so our members can share their stories and let legislators know how important our work is.

Because the capitol is still closed to visitors, we need folks to sign up by February 4th with your voting address and contact information. If possible we will pair members with the legislators from your district so that you can speak directly to the folks who need your vote.
