Advanced Steward Training

While we strongly recommend participants attend this training in person, we recognize that some participants may not have the flexibility to do so. For that reason, we are offering this training in a hybrid model. The In-person session will be held at the Portland Office, 525 NE Oregon St, Portland, OR 97232.

Advanced Steward training will cover more complex topics for seasoned stewards. Topics will include:

  • Grievance & Arbitration
    • ERB Decisions
    • Citing Case Law
    • Evidence & Exhibits
    • Witness Prep
  • Guidance in alternate complaint forums such as:
    • EEOC
    • BOLI
    • Workers Compensation
    • Requesting Disability Accommodations
    • Requesting Religious Accommodations
  • Requests (and Responses) for Information
